Toin Graduate School

Many postgraduate students who study at Toin Graduate School are encouraged to devote themselves to a special field and are also involved internationally and actively in their discipline. The goals of Toin Graduate School are to educate highly professional researchers with an original and interdisciplinary scope.

A Master's Degree in Engineering

Advanced research and study built on foundational undergraduate study

Medical Engineering Course

This course's aim is to train academic researchers and engineers majoring in medical engineering with a new perspective and approach to preventative medicine and new devices useful for medical applications. We offer a special program for training professionals who scientifically find and solve the problems about the effects of ecological, chemical, and social environments on health management and maintenance. Professional study also includes development of new device technologies related to conversion of energy and information.

Fields of Study are as follows:

  1. Medical Engineering
  2. Ecological Engineering
  3. Genetic Engineering
  4. Biodynamics and Molecular Engineering
  5. Information and Mechanical Engineering Course

Information and Mechanical Engineering Course

The research area of our course is divided into two: one deals with the interface between information and humans; and the other deals with the improvement in mechanical function and artificial intelligence of new technologies, which are being used in various aspects of our lives.

Fields of Study are as follows:

  1. Applied Information Engineering
  2. Robotics and Bio-Mechatronics

A Doctorate Degree in Engineering

Research which develops new frontiers in engineering

Our aim is to train both academic researchers and professional engineers in the areas of medical engineering and environmental engineering. Students are expected to develop new perspectives and technologies, respectively, in these fields.

Medical Engineering Course

The goals of this course are the development of better medical materials and diagnostic equipments, the development of physio-chemical treatment technologies, and scientific research on preventative medicine, especially what kinds of effects do ecological, chemical, and social environments have on health management and maintenance.

Environmental Engineering Course

The main aim of this course is to research the influence of environmental factors on health management. Furthermore, we offer special programs to enrich our living environment and to make new breakthroughs in environmental purification/ anti-pollution technology, solar power, and make new breakthroughs in nanotechnology.

Fields of Study are as follows:

  1. Medical Engineering
  2. Ecological Engineering
  3. Genetic Engineering
  4. Biodynamics and Molecular Engineering
  5. Nanotechnology and Energy Engineering
