Structure Relationship among Polyphenol on Differentiation of Osteoclasts and Osteoblasts 4-Hydroxyderricin Inhibits Osteoclast

Abstract
Polyphenol reportedly exert physiological effects against diseases such as cancer, arteriosclerosis, hyperlipidaemia and osteoporosis. We examined that quercetin from onion, curcumin from curcuma longa, apigenin from pasley, olive polyphenol, e.c.t. inhibit formation of osteoclasts. By contrast, we showed that some polyphenol inhibit or induce osteoblastic differentiation.
